Saturday, May 2, 2015 - A very impressive improvement over what I tasted in the 2009 offering of this wine. This one has a seamless streak of concentrated, juicy fruit from lips to finish. The nose has brooding, almost stewed like dark fruit aroma. The fruit on the palate ranges from mulled to candied cherry, blueberry, plum and red raspberry. Lively, good solid mouth feel. Nicely balanced and integrated tannins, oak, acid and alcohol. Really strong finish of spicy maraschino cherry.
