Bright without being too fake or sugary. Nice high toned fruits on the nose followed by strawberries and cherries on the palate. A hint of smoke, a touch of vanilla-oak. Light to medium overall impression. Ready to drink up.
A great bottle at around $20. Tasted back in December 2014 with similar notes and score.

A very impressive improvement over what I tasted in the 2009 offering of this wine. This one has a seamless streak of concentrated, juicy fruit from lips to finish. The nose has brooding, almost stewed like dark fruit aroma. The fruit on the palate ranges from mulled to candied cherry, blueberry, plum and red raspberry. Lively, good solid mouth feel. Nicely balanced and integrated tannins, oak, acid and alcohol. Really strong finish of spicy maraschino cherry.

Yummylicious. Is that a technical term? Probably the best cheap O-noir I have had in recent memory! Perfumed nose, medium weight, balanced, smokey vanilla oak, red fruits, acid, dirt. May not sound like a delicious mouthful but it was!
You would be hard pressed to mistake this for something French, and in fact it cuts the line daringly close to a C-noir from Santa Inez or even further south, but it holds its own and at well under $20, except for something from Italy or maybe Germany (not) I can't think of a better bargain currently out there.

well made Oregon pinot - good weight and balance. A little riper than my favorite pinots, but a very good value

Ripe with spice. Would have guessed Sonoma Coast.
