Thursday, December 29, 2016 - This has similarities to the bottle I drank in '12, but seems to have come together in a favorable way. Sweet, funk and a hint of savory spice on the nose. Sweet/sour on the palate, which is fairly big in body. Just a hint of heat on the finish. In general, this is a bigger, more monolithic style than I prefer, but it's decent for what it is. More of a "cocktail pinot" than an elegant accompaniment to food.
