Monday, May 25, 2020 - a very dark core with brownish/tawny rim indicating age and foreshadowing a gorgeous profile of brown sugar, spice, tobacco dust, worcestershire sauce, celery salt, caramel, leather and soil tones that show appropriate sweetness, elegance and seduction! The palate, is smooth at first with well-integrated tannin, supple and rounded and shows a bit of antique furniture scents/flavors on the finish. Quite classic! What is it about this vintage that always is so compelling!?!?!? 93-94
