Tuesday, March 31, 2015 - Everyone is right, this isn't as good as the 2012. But that is only because the 2012 Briords is just about the best $17 wine ever. 2012 was insanely good for the price, 2013 is very, very good for the price.
The descriptions are all spot on and all tend to run together: lovely citrus, fantastic chalky minerality, etc. My favorite is the very slight touch of something a bit funkier - someone else says grapefruit, and that may be about right, there's just a little bit of musk to the citrus.
Yet another wonderful Briords.
