Wednesday, April 16, 2014 - I bought this as I was intrigued by the WS rating of 93 points. I don't believe this to be an excellent, boarding on outstanding, bottle of wine. It is clearly very good, with some notable fruit up front, and a nice complex finish. It lacks the overall mouth feel and pronounced nuances such as earth and depth of presence to be special. I would rate it an excellent every day wine at this price point, and wouldn't hesitate recommending it within those parameters.
