Saturday, July 26, 2014 - Young wine and needs time. Bought based on price of $15.99 a bottle and WS rating of 93. Dark in color. Nose has peppercorn, smokey, leather and dark fruit. Taste is big, meaty and I felt like a had a cigar in my mouth. Finish is pleasant but evident it needs time to settle. Won't go as high as 93 but terrific for price and could see it pairing well with food from the grill.
