Sunday, November 1, 2015 - Tasted blind. Bright, medium (+) lemon with some gold hues. The nose is clean, with apple, peach and smoky oak. The palate is dry, but with lots of sweet tropical fruit flavors. The acidity is medium and yet it seems a little incongruent with the sweet fruit, like it was added during the winemaking process. The alcohol is medium (+). This boldly flavored Chardonnay ends with a fairly long and pleasantly bitter finish. Overall a good value in the $15.00 range.
