Sunday, October 8, 2017 - This is the second or third Salvador vyd from Turley (altho not aware of another producing selling a wine with this fruit) that I've tried, and am coming to appreciate its distinctiveness. There's cooling mint and clay on the nose and the palate, which along with black pepper and licorice provide a savory foundation for the gobs of dark fruits. Has a unique personality, but all of the richness and deliciousness that you'd expect from a Turley. Should go strong for another 5-7 years.
