Likes this wine:

Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Parfum, tabac, lots of spice qualities. A little burgundy funk, perhaps just the right amount 😁. Less fruit in the aroma likely due in part to age, but no matter; the aroma is lovely with all of the non fruit aromas. Funk also reducing with time, perhaps fruit coming to fore.
Very smooth tannins and more fruit in entry than aroma would suggest. Texture is light, not watery, but lacking in intensity and depth in the mid palate.
Finish is fuller and bigger, has more tannin. The tannin a bit dusty or green when first opened and tasted on its own. However, with time and Easter meal, the acid and tannin balance is very good and carries to a good length and balance.
Overall an excellent wine and deserves to be enjoyed now or perhaps within the next 5 years.
