Always interesting tasting SQN but I've yet to enjoy one as they've all been extremely over-the-top and nearly undrinkable to me. This one, however, was easily the best one I've had. It was certainly ripe, but didn't have sickly sweet fruit and motor oil viscosity that I'm used to from SQN. Tropical fruits for both the nose and palate but with enough lift to keep it reasonably well balance. Nice spicy notes on the finish. A bit of warmth on the back end as well but overall this was quite decent.
