Sunday, August 17, 2014 - Wines at Tosca with Alex L (Tosca, San Francisco): Nose: Apple cider. Pretty funky. Oxidative with Brett! (rare to have Brett on a white wine). Hint of dessert-wine character - wax, saffron, genmaicha, honey. Not fruit driven.
Palate: Unbalanced. Low acid, flabby on midpalate.
Overall: Interesting aromatics but unbalanced. Score: Around 7
