Friday, January 1, 2010 - Ahhhh..here is the plushness that was missing from the last WA Merlot we had. Huge ripe raspberries, spices, plums, meat, dark chocolate, and herbs on the nose. Tart raspberries, dark cherries, dirt, leather, coffee, and tobacco on the palate. Dry medium plus length finish. Lots and lots of life left but was drinking well with about an hour in the decanter.Went well with sausage pizza.
