Sunday, February 5, 2017 - Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium plus expressiveness, black raspberry, burnt match, pine needles, and new shoe leather. Palate: Medium-full bodied, spicy dark red fruit attack, plenty of acid to balance the up front fruit, just a little thin thru the mid-palate though, rusty earthiness appears thru the back-end and dominates a mid-length finish. Lots of interesting things going on here, could use a little more mid-palate oomph to make it truly exceptional.
