Thursday, January 1, 2009 - Opened and tasted - my initial impression was that its a thin herbaceous wine. By the end of the evening after 6+ hours in the decanter, it had developed a delicious bouqet, almost reminded me of a Red Burgundy. Well balanced with complexity. When tried side by side the 2005 Orin Swift Papillion, it was less fruity, but had more secondary flavors.
