Saturday, June 18, 2016 - Bright green-tinted yellow. Reticent nose of iodine, oyster shell, and lemon peel. Austere but not harsh, with citrus and minerals on the huge finish. As usual, Dauvissat's La Forêt is a captivating, gorgeous wine, but here it will take time to shed it's rough edges and open up. Drink starting 2020.
