Friday, December 31, 2021 - Decanted briefly. This is showing beautifully with full body of well-aged fruit, cooling herbs, tobacco, and supple tannins with good acid. The 2001 is certainly holding up although I'm not sure there's really a reason to age these so long since they are delicious in their youth. Still, old wine for the old year!
