Friday, January 18, 2019 - Wine is an opaque purple to ruby hue with long legs. The nose presents spicy dark cherries, with hints of raspberries, blackberries and cassis. Medium heavy chewy tannins. Too heavy for roast chicken, and it was a better pairing with steak, but think the best pairing would be game or slow roasted braised meats.
