Monday, April 2, 2018 - Quite restrained nose with dark red fruit, vanilla, slight woody earth and a hint of spices. The medium-bodied palate adds some more spices, medium acidity and light, mostly resolved tannins that do however pile up a bit. Long finish with vanilla, leather and tobacco, tapering towards acids. Really consistent from start to finish, and well in balance. In a good spot and very drinkable now, with some tertiary tones present but not yet completely in the general "old wine" department.
