Wednesday, April 10, 2019 - This was significantly darker in profile in comparison to other Crozes-Hermitage wines I’ve had. Violets, underripe blackberry and charcoal aromatics. There was a streak of iron down the middle of the palate to go with more blackberry, spiced rhubarb and cedar. Chewy tannins. No problem holding for a few more years.
