Wednesday, April 8, 2020 - Very youthful, brimming with energy, though pretty well settled now with about five years of bottle age. Strong, fresh acidity, and bold dark fruit, big black pepper note, mild green peppercorn and garlicy white spice. Shows fine tannins, and good sustain through the finish. Such great precision to this, almost seemed a bit foursquare at first but it was just its youthful vibrancy.

Followed over 4 days now, and it showed nice development of complex flavors on day 3, there was only about a glass left, kind of left it for dead, but here, a day later this might be my favorite glass. Threw a bit of sediment, but really impressive how this has held up, showing great, and still carrying some good firmness to its structure, wow. This and Faury Saint Joseph V.V. are a couple of the best values in the N Rhône and likely world wide.
