Sunday, November 12, 2023 - A magnificent Mas de Daumas Gassac vertical from the private cellars of Allard Jakobs (Restaurant Sinck, Amsterdam, NL): Magnum. A warm year apparently, but it comes across as crisp and fresh and bright, quite closed right now, tannins are a bit dry, there is a lovely hint of liqueur on the finish which gives hope. Cautious score.
