Saturday, February 7, 2015 - At Clos du Val, I was poured one of the older Cabernet Sauvignons thanks to Alex and Bill, nose of rich cabernet/cherry pitted fruit, touch of cassis, spice, and plum, more of the same on the palate, very pleasant, fresh and rich berry flavor, subtle with elegance compared to the other reds tasted today, 100% Napa Valley fruit but not Stag's Leap District fruit, medium/big body, two year's to its peak, medium/long flavorful finish.
