Sunday, August 17, 2014 - Very deep red almost black color. Nose is beautiful with blackcurrant, earthy notes, volcanic soli, coffee beans, sigar box, viola and sweet chocolate. The taste follows the nose, surprisingly smooth tannins at this stage, but good structure. Smooth transitions, incredible balance and very long finish. Love it at this stage, and would like to taste again in several years.

Tasted at the winery on our second visit to CdV. Previous visit we tasted the same wine in the 98´ and 08´ vintages.
