Monday, September 8, 2014 - A Visit To Fritz-Haag (Brauneberg, Germany): The nose is a bit austere right now, showing bare soil and scents of yellow flowers. When tasted, yellow apple flavors show right away along with a touch of cream, and later some apple peel flavors come into play. As it evolves, the apples show great depth. A long and slow build of acid is enjoyable, slowly rising above the richness and creating some nice evolution. 90+
