Friday, June 6, 2008 - Summer Truffle Dinner (Chicago, IL): Effusive and complex aromatics. Initial funk blows off to reveal aged dark fruits, cedar, minerals, tar and spice accents. Still quite lively on the palate with round currant fruits, soft-suave tannins and plenty of balancing acidity. Drinking damn well - a fine example of perfectly mature bdx.
