Sunday, December 30, 2012 - (jm's old world education@paulS') Murky berries, funky and dusty nose, showing tobacco, dark flowers (rose), dried cherries and sour cranberries, along with moldy black earth, freshly sliced serrano and black kalamata olives. Palate is beatifully savoury, tall, with tight tannins, expressive florals, with find black berries and high acid freshness. Finish is somewhat thin, showing tangkway (angelica root) herbal characters at the end. Yummy for what it is.
