Saturday, August 29, 2015 - Throwndown in Madtown; 8/27/2015-8/29/2015 (Madison, WI): Single blind. This was a great bottle. Impossibly young ruby color. Nose of black raspberry, raspberry, camphor, mint, dirt, and spicy oak. On the palate, dense, yet it danced in the mouth with palate repeating the nose. Long finish with plenty of grip and perfect balance. A wine for the ages and the best of wine of the weekend for me.
