Saturday, August 9, 2014 - Clear and deep ruby. The nose is clean with tons of berry fruit characteristics. Black cherry, red plum skin and leather are all present. The palate is supple and complex. Fresh fruit instead of dried fruits come through as well as hints of violet, dried leaves and pepper. This is a wine for everyone because it falls into the middle of everything: Medium Body, Medium Acid, Medium Alcohol. Nicely Balanced and drinking nicely now. Tough to find a wine of this quality for under $20.
