Sunday, March 17, 2019 - Pop and pour, followed over two hours out of the bottle. Dark, lush berries on the nose with white pepper, charred wood, and leather.

Really nice on the palate; same flavors as on the nose with a well-balanced, velvety mouth feel that envelops the front and mid palate and gives a finish of 20+ seconds. Last bottle reflects a bit of variation as this is significantly better, though the flavors do begin deteriorating towards the end of the window. Certainly good through 2021-22 as a pop and pour
