Saturday, October 17, 2020 - Quite tight and reductive upon opening, but still a lot of promises about what to expect later on. After 4 hours on the carafe, I find aromas of lemons, yellow apples, gunpowder smoke, flint, hazelnuts, butter and a nice touch of integrated vanilla. Very focused. Great concentration, high acidity, great punch, crisp and very fresh, long. High minerality. A tight wine today, but with plenty of air it gives a lot of pleasure. Anyhow, patience will be awarded, and I would recommend waiting a few more years. A great Perrieres with a bright future and long life ahead.
