92 Points

Saturday, November 4, 2017 - This was drunk over two days. On the first day, the oak was much more noticeable than the Champs-Gain from the same vintage. This showed white flowers on the nose; yellow apple, pear, and mineral notes on the palate, with a medium finish and strong acidity. On the second day the oak had integrated; the score reflects day two. This is drinkable now if you enjoy some oak, or wait three to five years for this to come together. This was a good to very good value at around $50.
