Friday, June 5, 2015 - Green aromas of herbs and lime zest, plus a saline hint. Savory flavors dominate on the palate - jalapeno and chives in particular. The gooseberry notes prominent in so many NZ Sauvignon Blancs are more subdued here, as are the citrus fruit flavors more common in Californian SBs. Good, although not racy, acidity powers a moderately long finish. Distinctive.
