Grapefruit, honey, pineapple, lemon & lime with cut grass and slight kiwi. Good minerality, mouthfeel and length. Not overly dry. Good representation of NZ SB but seems to be some slight imbalance - not sure what is slightly off but still very good.

The wine looks light gold colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit and lemon. For a $10 price, this is a nice wine to have with a salad or with grilled scallops or shrimp. With NZ Sauvignon Blanc, there tends to be a consistent dryness and not some of the "headache in a bottle" that is often found in California wines of the type.

Blind tasted. Right from the start, obviously NZ Sauv Blanc. Gooseberry, kiwi, pineapple, lime skin, herbaceous, green pepper, high acidity, medium body, medium plus alcohol. Pretty good example for the $$

Very light in color. In the nose lots of citrus notes, lime and grapefruit. These continue on the palate, with bright acidity and just a hint of tropical fruit. Medium finish. A nice crisp wine, great on summer evening if you want something dry, not sweet. Works very well with salmon.

PnP at refrigerator temperature. Presents as quite a pale yellow. The nose is different than the last vintage, with a sweet grassy aroma in addition to white grape and some bright fruits that we couldn't quite place. It matches on the palate, and reaches a good balance between some of the sweeter-seeming components and the usual grassiness. The acidity is very well-balanced and runs from the attack through the finish.
We're not really in agreement with other notes that the acid is out-of-whack. It's a very pleasant wine, though it lacks some complexity when compared to the 2013. "Very good," 87/100.

Pale yellow in color. Unbalanced, heavily acidic which overpowers. I don't agree with some reviewers that this is a typical Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc as they typically have more of a grapefruit note than this one. Tart finish. I wouldn't buy again at any price.

Good bang for the buck. Super acidic start to finish. Lots of citrus- grapefruit! (pith), green grass and hints of pineapple. Really tart and dry. Almost one note with the overpowering acidity. Better with food. Definite brightness. Quite tasty and almost too easy to drink.

A really decent bottle of white wine for under $10, but not nearly a 90 point wine. Has an immediate, quick hitting, mouth filling taste of green pepper influenced lime and grapefruit, but overall lacks the typical, continuing assault of flavors. Could be this is still a little young and not quite together. The acid sort of overpowers and drown out the non citrus pear and apple flavors all the way through the finish.

Cold- Initial notes of sweet fruit, pear, maybe pineapple. In the mouth I get a strong presence of grapefruit and a little passion fruit. The finish is long and nice, a little oak and dominated by citrus.

Green aromas of herbs and lime zest, plus a saline hint. Savory flavors dominate on the palate - jalapeno and chives in particular. The gooseberry notes prominent in so many NZ Sauvignon Blancs are more subdued here, as are the citrus fruit flavors more common in Californian SBs. Good, although not racy, acidity powers a moderately long finish. Distinctive.

NZ Grab Bag: Light golden yellow color. Classic Marlborough nose of grapefruit, lemongrass, white peach, some green pepper. Palate is crisp and clean and bright, not a lot of weight or depth, but the lime and grapefruit mixes well with the white and green pepper notes. Hints of honeysuckle and white peach linger on the finish.

12.5% alcohol, clear yellow, fast legs, citrus nose; tasting brings out notes of lemon, pineapple, kiwi, Granny Smith apples; not much finish

Definite grapefruit, and reasonable acidity. The best $10 Marlborough SB I have had recently.
