Monday, July 6, 2015 - Clear, starbright, pale green gold. Interestingly, has a slight effervescence. Nose is complex: I expected less from a riesling this price. There are floral notes, a steely slate-like minerality, light honey and beeswax notes, citrus, fresh lime, cut lemon, and what I described in my notes as 'moss covered stone'. Off dry with high acidity, light body, medium intensity of flavour and a medium length finish. A light, bright, complex wine that punches above its weight. Drink now to 2018.
