Tuesday, December 26, 2017 - Dark Purple Crimson colour. Aroma of grilled meat, sauerkraut and show polish. Plum, blackberry, prune, eucalyptus and cocoa. Full bodied, rich and musky. Chocolate tannin but edgy acidity and hot alcohol. Better on the second day. Has lost some of the fresh fruit from its early days and the acidity has stood out. I was very excited by this wine a couple of years ago but it appears to have gone backwards. Am desperately hoping it will improve again but losing faith.

    missing. “Almost, but not quite...” seems to be the general theme for me with Bleasdales and I have stopped busing them...
