Saturday, September 4, 2010 - Wow! I guess I saved the best for last on this one. It was perfect in balance, structure and mouthfeel. Bright red cherries with hints of oak. Fully integrated tannins and a freshness that was impressive given the age of the bottle. Some coffee and cola and nuances of forest floor. Incredible ripe and fresh fruit. Ample nose and exquisite lingering finish. I looked online and this $28 bottle of wine was averaging $122 up to $175 on auction at this time.
