Thursday, October 16, 2014 - "2015" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/11/2014-10/16/2014 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {screwcap, 14.5%} Remarkably good given the vintage, this has sweet vanilla bean aromas with cabernet leaf and French oak in the background. It has fresh medium acid, and low level gritty tannins; there are curranty fruit flavours and it’s a lot less herbal than the nose hinted. Medium-bodied and dry, although the diffuse medium length finish has a touch of hollowness that says this is a drink soon proposition.
