Monday, April 29, 2019 - I confess that I don't know the proper window to drink this but it certainly isn't now. This is a delight but I've had it open for two hours and I can't get it to come around to the promise I know is there. It's beautifully delineated boysenberry, blackberry and sweet vanilla is marked with an acidity that still just cuts all that richness. I'm able to pick out that Barossa Shiraz almost too well from the Cab but I feel that will settle in time. There's a little blue here and I hope it will become more prominent in the next few years. Overall a joy and it's got the structure to last another decade at least. What an olfactory expression of Barossa!
