Friday, July 6, 2018 - Black Lion Wine Club - Central Italy Whites and Tuscan Reds (The Black Lion): Medium garnet. Dried fruit - cherry, plum, prune, liquorice, smoke, leather, earth. Fully developed. Dry, high acidity, fine med+ tannins, med+ alcohol, tertiary flavours dominate the palate, long finish. Outstanding, mature Brunello. Still very good indeed, great finesse, but time to drink up.
