Saturday, April 16, 2016 - Full body, deep to inky purple color. Intense ripe black and red fruits aroma complements by black pepper and dominant earthy notes. Black cherry, plums and sweet spices on the palate, long peppery finish. Powerful, rich and hot, bold texture, well balanced, complex, thick acidity and gentle tannins. Food friendly. Best match is meat dishes, ideal for grilled veal or lamb but well associated with Risotto or Pilaf. Serve 18º - 22º. Need time for oxidation, open at least three hours in advance or decant, drink now and next three/four years, perhaps more.
