Sunday, November 3, 2013 - Deep golden orange colour that continues to darken in glass. A few bubbles on the surface but otherwise resembles a still wine. The nose has a bit of funk but also has burnt Caramel, hazelnuts, a sweet vinous quality and a touch of sherry. The palate is a bit thicker than the younger version of the same wine but tastes surprisingly like a very concentrated version. Caramel, hazelnuts, minerals, faint baked apple and decent acidity and finish.
