Monday, May 2, 2016 - A gift from friends, I was not expecting much, especially since I knew it was a newspaper "Club" wine. Turned out to be very good. Equal parts cab, merlot, sang. and syrah, made in modern fruit-forward style. Lacks acidity levels I normally expect in Italian wines, but well-balanced. Moderate complexity with some spice, mocha, dark berry fruit. Easy-drinking and very good value.
