Saturday, March 18, 2017 - Since last being tasted more than two years ago, this deep ruby, medium-bodied Cabernet has evolved nicely. Still with blackberry, plum, spice and dark chocolate aromas and flavors, it has added a wisp of pipe tobacco. The medium-weight tannins are silky-texured, the alcohol seamless (14.1%) and the oak nicely integrated. Dense on the mid-palate and closing with good length, this inaugural Turley Cabernet is refined and elegant. Drink now-2022.
