Friday, June 19, 2015 - Still youthful colour. Intense blackberry fruit aromas, some leafy herbs in the background, but this is all about ripe fruit, really. Sweet and generous on the palate, blackberry, integrated tannin. No savoury tones to be seen anywhere. Not my style of Syrah but there's a lot to be said for the quality of fruit. Drinks well now but will probably survive further cellaring.
