Sunday, September 4, 2016 - Brighter maroon, a good bit of density; high toned nose, intense fruit, plummy, sour dark cherry, slight animal but not in a Bretty sense, clean, dense, green edge, spice, cloves, iron, roses, a bit different than most things, I see a similarity to Pinot, elegantly styled Syrah, Gamay, and even Cab Franc; really unique and well done, a real pleasure to drink, complex though not complicated.
