Sunday, January 17, 2016 - This was a resounding surprise. Dark fruits and plenty of pepper were the hallmarks of this wine. Mild tannins and medium acidity were quite lovely as well. As the wine settled the typical Sangiovese notes of herbs and leather began to emerge. What a fun wine! Would go well with pasta and pizza, red sauce with sausage.
