Saturday, May 19, 2012 - CT Texas IV - A Hill Country Treat; 5/18/2012-5/19/2012 (Austin, Texas): My fifth time with this wine and all have been a little different. This was much less horsey than other bottles and still had that nice funk wrapped around a core of red and black fruit, anise, sage, tarragon, and roasted meat. On the palate, domainted by red and black raspberry flavors with anise, herbs, and smoked meat. Finishes long with noticeable grip and great acidity. My WOTN in some very serious company.
