Thursday, February 12, 2015 - Time to check in again. Pop and pour into a decanter, didn't last very long. In the glass, dark saturated red with the first signs of auburn. The aromatics are exceptional: raspberries, bacon fat, forest floor, currants. Very inviting nose. On the palate, smooth and complex, with equal proportions of fruit, high-toned notes of aging, and beef blood minerality. With a steak, just about perfect.
