Sunday, December 28, 2014 - Decanted for several hours. Color very dark purple, like ink. Nose was incredible that just kept getting better over time. Aromas of blackberry, smoke, olives. Palate is full bodied with a rich, smooth texture. Great integration of components. Smoke, black fruits, and a great nutty (hazelnut) finish. This was one of the best if not the best Syrah I have ever had. It was perfect in every way and a pleasure to enjoy. 5,14,18,7=94
